FORCE basketball

We are delighted to be able to offer a whole new season of basketball to the community in Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven and Lewes.

Our goal this year will be to promote our mini ballers sessions and making sure all categories have a considerable amount of official 5v5 playing time.

We are excited and keen to get started in September and will see coach Lewis take on more responsibility as mini ballers head coach.

We will be offering opportunities to play official friendly games as well as the option to participate in open tournaments at the Community Basketball Initiative Open Runs.

FREE WEEKLY SESSIONS FOR 11-16 YEAR OLDS WITH TARGETED NEEDS

Newhaven - Free, weekly Multi Skills and Basketball sessions

Partnership work with the Community Basketball Initiative

The Force works in partnership with the CBI CIC to offer a unique, weekly, FREE, Multi Skills and Basketball session for targeted groups of young people aged 11-16 at Newhaven Fort Road Recreation Ground from July 6th 2022. This programme is funded through Active Sussex and The Newhaven Council grants. The Force is proud to be part of this community effort and we look forward to support the project were we can.

Since our founding in 2016, Force Basketball has served the sports and recreation needs of the "Seahaven" area of East Sussex including Lewes, Peacehaven, Newhaven and Seaford. With both indoor and outdoor courts, Force basketball is the prime destination for basketball training, games, tournaments, and competitions. We also feature recreational events, sport leadership courses and volunteer opportunities. We hold a high standard of "team spirit" and participation conduct to ensure the highest quality of basketball experience. We follow Basketball England's affiliation requirements including DBS checks, safeguarding and 1st aid standards.
